Scott, I appreciate your thoughtful reply. Although I don’t like the language of your prior post, I would not ever Hate you for it. We are all human and your feelings are yours..and we all make mistakes, myself included. Regarding your question, this was my first time seeing your blog so the shock value may have been higher, however i would not regularly read a blog that has that kind of language all the time, even if it may have a lot of value for me. I would miss out and so would you….anyway I will continue to check in on your posts and good luck in your ventures. Friends? Hugs

Hi Scott. I like how you came out and apologized about it. Shows me you have better moral character than some do. Just don’t beat yourself up over it. Everyone that knows you knows that you are a nice guy who does not talk and act like a high school kid, cursing out members and all. I guess that is how they talk to their mothers or anyone else. No respect whatsoever. But who cares, you are much better than that.

Next time you want to drop the F bomb in your writings so much, maybe you can make another gmail account (you can call it your F File) Then you can cuss the heck out of anyone or anything…lol jk Scott It is your blog to do what you want with it. I almost thought someone gave you that to post because it did not sound like you wrote it…

Forget about yesterday. It is over and done. Today is a new day.

Ho Mona thanks for your comment, And don’t worry I’m not beating myself up over it. Those are my views on the subject and they were expressed in exactly the way I felt. Could it have been done in a different tone yea maybe. One more thing If I had said those words to anyone personally I could apologize but I could never go back and change what was said. So why should I do that here? Thanks again and I hope you continue to read and comment on my posts

I understand and no if you said it personally to someone you could not change it either. Once things are said people tend to remember, but not all tend to forget. You did what you wanted to do and said what you wanted to say and no one can argue with that one. πŸ™‚ haha I will continue to check out your blog postings when I see them. Have a great day.

Hey Scott guess what. No matter what you do or say someone in today’s day and age will get offended. That is why the world is the way it is now. Those that know you felt your passion.

You have nothing to apologize about as you are 100 % correct. Part of this penny surfing mentality lies in the hands of the TE’s that encourage it and permit it. I am sure that will offend someone to and I didnt even drop an F Bomb.

We can lead a horse to water but they will not drink. Your a good guy and a leader and dont let any offended person tell you better. For those that are so offended, dont read it . You dont have to agree with what anyone does or writes but you should at least pay the respect that Scott is a an individual who is entitled to his opinion as much as you are entitled to being offended.

Hypocrisy is defined by miriam webster as the behavior of people who do things that they tell other people not to do : behavior that does not agree with what someone claims to believe or feel

Worry about you and give that same equal respect to one another .

    Rock on my friend

Thanks for the comment Tim. I stand behind what I said about people just surfing for pennies. This post is more about me feeling bad about how I presented it.

You got your thoughts across as you wanted. Did I like the post yesterday, no. Do I agree with the general idea of the post, Not entirely. Will I get over it, already have. Would I want to read posts in this tone all the time, no. How you handled yourself after the comments came in says a lot about you. You have gained my respect and friendship.

    Hi Scott,
To answer your question, if that was the way you spoke all the time, I would not read your blog posts.
I think walking away and getting a cup of coffee, anytime your have written a blog post with or without foul language, is a smart move. Luckily, I have friends who will help me filter when I’m disturbed or upset.
I will leave you with this- my momma always said people who use foul language do so because they do not have the intelligence to express themselves any other way. I KNOW that is not YOU.

Thank you Cathy for your comment. My Dad told me many moons ago when I was in my teens. He said I don’t mind if you use swear words just don’t do it just for the sake of doing it, If it doesn’t fit into the conversation then keep it out.

It’s us who offer people rewards for surfing. I can’t help noticing that the people complaining about penny surfers are the same people motivating them to click, then worrying over how many credits, banner or text ad impressions they’re giving away. They need to learn the same lesson as their surfers…..PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS!!! Spend money when necessary, πŸ˜› …place your links in popular coops and daily push your sites in premier traffic exchanges. Make sure to show your co-op links as well, auto assigning credits to your sites. When surfers see you everywhere they believe you are popular…and guess what, at that point you ARE!!! Never let anyone steal your dreams guys.

Paul there is nothing wrong with offering people rewards for surfing. Just don’t make it your only reason for surfing. And that is all I’m trying to say. Some people will get the message and some won’t and thanks for your comment Paul
